This historical treasure is in need of some love and care. If it is to remain the symbol of what is good and right then we desperately need your help. The Board of Trustees is committed to restoring this enchanting facility. For lovers of the church and history, we are offering you the opportunity to be apart of something wonderful; the renovation and re-purposing of this beloved facility.

 

Our goal is to secure the envelope of the building over the next year by repairing the roof, repainting the exterior and solidifying the foundation. Additionally, our intentions are to begin working on the interior of the auditorium to refresh most, if not all, of its original mid 19th century construction, furnishings and fixtures. Along with that, our desire is to modernize the two wings that were added to the building in the 1940’s for the purpose of appealing to bridal parties looking for a timeless venue. The final piece of the puzzle is to dress up the landscaping in order to make it more
aesthetically pleasing and a must see landmark. Within the next few years, we plan to have the facility up and running, ready to host weddings and special events such as: gospel meetings, a cappella singings, youth devotionals, and historical tours.
